Our first ultrasound device – a milestone for maternity care!

We are overjoyed to share that The Sarara Foundation will be opening our fourth nomadic Montessori pre-school here in Namunyak Conservancy in the coming weeks.
Honouring Namunyak’s Female Rangers
This World Female Ranger Week, we are so proud to honour the female guardians of Namunyak Community Conservancy, and celebrate the meaningful work they do every day. Through their empathy, compassion, strength and wisdom, Namunyak has become and remains a place of peace – just as its name suggests in Samburu.
In Memory of Loldikir
On the 21st of May 2023, the Samburu community and Sarara lost one of its greats. Loldikir has been instrumental in the forming of Sarara and Namunyak and helping shape what it is today. His wisdom and knowledge was unmatched and his passionate dedication to conserving the wilderness deeply inspired those around him.
