Teacher Terry speaks at the 29th International Montessori Congress.

Congratulations to Terry Koskei, one of our Montessori Teachers, who was recently a standout speaker at the 29th International Montessori Congress in Bangkok!

In her talk, titled “Bringing Montessori Education to Nomadic Tribes”, Terry spoke about the unique challenges and successes of introducing Montessori principles within nomadic communities and also highlighted its incredibly transformative effect.

Some 700 delegates from 57 countries attended, and the Congress was themed “Education for a New World”. Terry’s fresh perspective on how education can adapt to diverse environments was particularly well received.

Our heartfelt thanks to Fay Hendriksen, the Head of Outreach of Association Montessori Internationale and Francescah Martin from AMI Kenya for their incredible support.

Ashe oleng - thank you Teacher Terry for representing Samburu on an international stage!
