A Rescue Operation Like No Other
This past weekend we were involved in one of the toughest and most intricate rescues.
Late on Friday evening, we received word from a community herder in Milgis area that not one, but four elephants are stuck in a community well.

Brave, baby Christine received a new life and a new smile when The Sarara Foundation helped her receive surgery to repair her cleft palate and cleft lip.
Nitanga’s battle with Hand Contractures
Four year old Nitanga had an unfortunate accident with a pot of hot water which caused 4 contractures on her left hand. Through the Sarara Nomadic Health Care program Nitanga received life changing surgery!
