Samburu represented at symposium in Bonn, Germany.

Titus Letaapo, our Director of Community recently delivered a presentation at the Living Planet Symposium in Bonn, Germany.

The title of Titus' talk was "The Lopa App: Incorporating in-situ data with Indigenous knowledge to enable the Samburu tribe to routinely monitor their land, enhancing the community's adaptation to climate change and improving their disaster preparedness."

Titus also chaired a networking session for Indigenous People at the conference.

In addition to representing The Sarara Foundation, Titus also represented The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Indigenous Alliance of which he is a Founding Member.
